Water Lilies: Lyman Plant House

Four Color Lithograph

16 1/2 x 12 inches

The water lilies convey a mysterious feeling, given their ancient Nymphaeales history. For this print, I first drew the lilies in Smith College`s Lyman Plant House with plain graphite, then scanned in the drawing and wildly colored it on the computer. Next, I separated the colors into four, and made a plastic image of each from which I created four metal plates. This print is the result of four passes through the lithograph.
